Business Manager

Rebel River Creative is seeking a business manager to join our creative team. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, experience with data management (excel), QuickBooks, excellent communication skills and superior customer service. Experience using the Workamajig project management platform is a bonus.

what you will do:

  • Manage the financial end of the business.
  • Maintain QuickBooks on a daily basis.
  • Run accounting reports using QuickBooks including profit + loss, balance sheets, and forecasting.
  • Become an expert in project management and invoicing using Workamajig.
  • Be familiar with conducting project port-mortems.
  • Ensure proper accountability for expenses, invoicing, collections, etc.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor and independent contractor relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business manager/administrative officer.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of business principles and practices
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in strategic planning and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable in QuickBooks.
  • Experience in Workamajig is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn new systems.
  • Marketing, advertising or creative agency a plus
  • Must be highly collaborative.
  • Nice, pleasant attitude. No egos, please.

salary:

Starting at $50,000 DOE
